I'm Bharath Kiran Lokanadham — a founder, designer, and engineer based in Bengaluru. I build my own products (like JobDeva.in and BioStudio.in), partner with a small number of client teams on end-to-end product work, and quietly prototype a third product in the cracks between.
My sweet spot is the seam between brand and product: I help teams articulate what they stand for, turn that into a coherent visual language, and ship the actual product that lives up to it. I've led design at a regional bank serving 2.4M customers, built headless commerce backends powering 12 storefronts, and shipped design systems adopted by 9 product teams — but the work I'm proudest of is the products I now build for myself.
Outside of products and client work, I write essays on craft and slow software, speak at design conferences, and host an invite-only summit for design leaders. I'm currently exploring how AI tooling can quietly extend a builder's range without flattening their taste.
